Terms of Service

1. What PadelRanking is

PadelRanking (padelranking.pro) is a service, operated by WISDOMPRESTIGE — UNIPESSOAL LDA (NIPC 515302767, Rua Dr. Mário Francisco Dias Neves 149, 4º Dto, 2870-497 Montijo), that lets you register padel matches, calculate a level from the results, compare yourself with other players and keep a shared history of who played with and against whom.

What PadelRanking isn't: it doesn't book or manage courts, doesn't process payments, doesn't organise tournaments with official brackets. By creating an account or using any feature that requires identity (submitting or approving a result, joining a match, commenting), you accept these terms.

2. Account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• The account is created via Google authentication — you're responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure.
• An account is personal and non-transferable.
• We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, with notice whenever the situation allows it.

3. Matches, results and what they mean

A match is confirmed when the opponent accepts the submitted result, or automatically 24 hours later if no one reacts. If a result is disputed, the other team can propose a different result; after two proposals with no agreement, the match is marked as permanently disputed and doesn't count towards anyone's level.

The level is a statistical estimate, not an official or federated ranking — it's meant to compare players within PadelRanking. You're responsible for the accuracy of the results you submit; repeatedly manipulating results is grounds for account suspension.

4. Players without an account ("unclaimed profiles")

You can register a match with people who don't yet have a PadelRanking account, identifying them by name. By doing so:

• You declare that the match actually happened, with that person.
• You understand that this match doesn't count towards anyone's level until the person claims their own profile.
• The identified person can, at any time, request removal of the profile created in their name.

5. Content you publish (comments, reactions)

You are solely responsible for what you write in comments and reactions. Prohibited: harassment, threats, hate speech, sharing third parties' personal data without consent, spam and illegal content.

You can report, block another player or mute a match. By publishing content, you grant PadelRanking a non-exclusive licence to show it within the product, never to sell it or use it outside the service.

6. Club data

Any user can create or edit a club's information. Entering fraudulent data or vandalising a club's information is grounds for immediate account ban.

7. Disclaimer

PadelRanking is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or that the calculated level accurately reflects anyone's real playing level.

To the extent permitted by law, WISDOMPRESTIGE is not liable for indirect damages resulting from use of the service, including disagreements between players over results or levels.

8. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close accounts for:

• Violation of these terms (sections 3, 5 and 6).
• Rating manipulation or collusion between players.
• Fraudulent activity or activity that endangers other users.

You can close your own account at any time, in Settings → Privacy and Data → Delete account.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Substantial changes are announced inside the app, and continued use after the notice counts as acceptance.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For any dispute that isn't resolved directly, the courts of the comarca of Lisbon have jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other.
