About us
The best in your country, region or club
Compete at the highest level. Our mission is to find out, every week, who's the best padel player in your country, your region, your club — and get you playing with people at your level. Yes, your planet: if you play alone on a court in the middle of the desert and no one else within 500km ever picks up a racket, congratulations, you're officially the best player on your planet. We've all won that point with an impossible lob, that smash that silenced the whole court, that drop shot that pulled the opponent out of position — and we've all retold that play, half an hour later, in the WhatsApp group, with a bit more topspin and a bit less luck than the real version. PadelRanking exists to settle that argument once and for all.
What we do
We don't book courts, don't manage clubs, and don't run tournaments with brackets and all — some people already do that very well, and it's not our game. PadelRanking does three things, and takes them as seriously as someone prepping an x3 smash:
- Ranking — your country, your region, your club and your group. Who's the best? The results answer, not WhatsApp.
- Matches at your level — set up matches with people close to your level, instead of playing whatever comes up.
- Progress — log your matches (who played, against whom, the result, at which club) and watch your level rise and fall with what actually happened on court. Beat your last self, every match.
Everything else in the product — the full history, the head-to-head with everyone you've played, the club, city and group rankings — serves this one purpose: your position, against real people, always in view, updated every week.
How we calculate your level
Your level isn't what you say it is on WhatsApp — it's calculated, match by match, from the results you and your opponents confirm. Beating someone stronger raises it more than beating someone weaker; a lucky Sunday-morning smash against friends doesn't turn you into a top seed the next afternoon. We don't hide the ranking while the sample is small — we always show the best table the data supports, with full honesty about how many matches and players back it.
A match without the app doesn't get left out
Played with someone who doesn't have a PadelRanking account yet? Don't wait around — invite them to that match, by link, email or WhatsApp. The match is saved to the history as soon as you register it, but it only starts counting towards everyone's level once that person accepts the invite — right away, and only for that match, with no history queued up waiting. We handle this mechanism with the care that third-party privacy demands — the detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Who's behind it
PadelRanking is made and operated by WISDOMPRESTIGE — UNIPESSOAL LDA, based in Montijo, Portugal — the same municipality where the product was born. All users' data is hosted on a server in the European Union.
